The SDA Hymnal gives the 3 verses that apply to this hymn # 633, and they say nothing about Heaven—we see 2 of them are about the New Yahrushalayim, not Heaven. Nothing in scripture says that saints go to THE Heaven where Yahwah The Almighty dwells, and the only man in Heaven is the only begotten son of Yah, at His side. The New Yahrushalayim is the dwelling place of the ‘bride’ for 1,000 years, then the saints go to the New Earth. The ‘transfiguration’ was NOT about Eliyahu and Moshe being In Heaven but was a VISION (Matt 17:9) of Future Glory for the patriarchs and all who are ‘grafted-in’ as per Romans 11. Yahwahshua Messiah pointed out (in ‘John’ 3:13) that one has gone to Heaven, and Hebrews 11:13 and :39 tell us that none of the patriarchs are there–they are in sheol/the grave until Resurrection & Judgement Day when Messiah returns– with Yahwah in him- ‘John’ 14:10-:11.
