1
When He cometh, when He cometh
To make up His jewels,
All His jewels, precious jewels,
His loved and His own.
Refrain
Like the stars of the morning,
His brightness adorning,
They shall shine in their beauty,
Bright gems for His crown.
2
He will gather, He will gather
The gems for His kingdom;
All the pure ones, all the bright ones,
His loved and His own.
3
Little children, little children,
Who love their Redeemer,
Are the jewels, precious jewels,
His loved and His own.

one of my best song
We sing this song in reference to small children, who are trusting Jesus, and profess their love for Him. They can be our stars in the morning. So trusting of their parents, and eager to see what the day holds. Where does that enthusiasm go, as we age? Is it a matter of losing our faith in God's goodness, His willingness to keep us safe, give every good gift to us, His children? Claim His promises, for He careth for YOU!
I taught this song before to my child who has 3 children now but i can still hear her voice as she sing it at the top of her voice when the refrain comes. My heart is overwhelmed in listening her praising God thru this song, and she is still a child in my heart.
I just printed out this old hymn for my new granddaughter, Gemma, because she is a precious jewel!
Remember, God has no grandchildren. So, this song is referring to adults as well as little children.
Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted, abs become A little children, ye shall in no wise enter into the kingdom of heaven.
Matthew 18:3-6, 19:14
i love god but my papa is lord heip my papa what he whell be good
