1
O listen to our wondrous story,
Counted once among the lost;
Yet One came down from heaven’s glory,
Saving us at awful cost!
Refrain
Who saved us from eternal loss?
Who but God’s Son upon the cross?
What did He do? He died for you!
Where is He now? Believe it thou,
In heaven interceding! In heaven interceding!
2
No angel could His place have taken,
Highest of the high tho’ he;
The loved One on the cross forsaken
Was One of the Godhead three!
3
Will you surrender to this Savior?
To His scepter humbly bow?
You, too, shall come to know His favor,
He will save you, save you now.

i love it
That is very good spiritual song oh how I wish we understand its power.
Wonderful… I love the hymn
is always inspirational when singing it
its awsome!
Ya otta hear it sung by a men’s chorus in a steeply tiered small lecture hall at Westminster College. At Missionary Conference in 1960 and 1961, we sang it every day and by the 3rd day we shook the paint off the walls.
One of my three favorite song in the Adventist hymnal
Holy Ghost inspired and full of power.
Beautiful hymn and lovely to sing it
It’s a anointing song
A very beautiful song…❤❤
Where is the Swahili version of this hymn?
