I feel rejected by close famiy. This song addresses the needs that Jesus fills in our hearts. If I choose, He will answer all my needs. This song soothes my aches and helps me look beyond petty slights and things out of my control.

Some weeks ago I heard this song in German. As I took a closer look at the English original I realized, that the English text is much deeper than the German version. Of course it is never easy a task to transfer a song into another language…
However, although I am really not good at memorizing song texts (on the other hand I really know hundreds of songs regarding the musical side), this song touched my heart so deep that almost on the fly the text entered my brain and until this day it has been dwelling there, rooted deeply and giving me peace, and comfort, and a blessed assurance! God is good!
