\nGod, the one, the righteous Lord.
\nMid the world’s despair and turmoil,
\nOne firm anchor holding fast;

\nGod has spoken by Christ Jesus,
\nChrist, the everlasting Son,
\nBrightness of the Father’s glory,

\nLight of light, to earth descending,
