\nOnce to every man and nation, comes the moment to decide,
\nIn the strife of truth with falsehood, for the good or evil side;
\nSome great cause, some great decision, offering each the bloom or blight,
\nAnd the choice goes by forever, \u2019twixt that darkness and that light.<\/p>\n

\nThen to side with truth is noble, when we share her wretched crust,
\nEre her cause bring fame and profit, and \u2019tis prosperous to be just;
\nThen it is the brave man chooses while the coward stands aside,

\nBy the light of burning martyrs, Christ, Thy bleeding feet we track,
\nToiling up new Calv\u2019ries ever with the cross that turns not back;
\nNew occasions teach new duties, time makes ancient good uncouth,
