\nSon of God, eternal Savior,
\nSource of life and truth and grace,
\nWork made flesh, whose birth among us
\nHallows all our human race,
\nYou our head, who throned in glory,
\nFor Your own will ever plead:
\nFill us with Your love and pity,

\nIn Your church’s sacred fold,
\nWeak and healthy, poor and wealthy,
\nSad and joyful, young and old.
\nIs there want or pain or sorrow?
\nMake us all the burden share.
\nAre there spirits crushed and broken?
\nTeach us, Lord, to soothe their care.<\/p>\n

\nSo may we for others live.
\nFreely have Your gifts been granted;
\nFreely may Your servants give.
\nYours the gold and Yours the silver,
